Welcome to www.honeyroot-collective.com (the "Site"), operated by HoneyRoot Collective ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Site or joining as a member, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. Questions can go to honeyrootcollective@gmail.com.
1. Who can use the Site
You must be at least 18 years old to join or use the Site. By doing so, you confirm that you are.
2. Membership
HoneyRoot Collective offers community membership with access to [DESCRIBE TIERS AND WHAT EACH INCLUDES]. Membership is billed [monthly, quarterly, or annually] depending on the plan you choose, and it renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. What is included, and the price, is shown when you join.
3. Payment and auto-renewal
When you join, you authorize us, through [PAYMENT PROCESSOR], to charge your payment method for the plan you selected, and to charge it again automatically at the start of each new billing period until you cancel. You will receive a receipt for each charge. If a payment fails, we may pause or end your access until it is resolved.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your membership at any time by written notice to honeyrootcollective@gmail.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period, and you keep access to member material through that period. We do not require approval to cancel.
5. Refunds
Monthly memberships are not refunded for the current period once it has started. If you prepaid for a quarterly or annual membership, that payment is non-refundable, but you keep access to member material for the full period you paid for.
6. Pausing your membership
You may pause your membership for up to 30 days [per year / per membership]. Pausing suspends both your access and your billing for that time. To pause or make other changes to your plan, send written notice to honeyrootcollective@gmail.com. The change takes effect on the date of your written notice, and no separate confirmation from us is required.
7. International members
Members may join from outside the United States, and we welcome that. If you are in a location whose laws give you mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived, those rights still apply to you regardless of anything in these terms. If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days, except where you have agreed to begin accessing digital content immediately and to waive that right. 8. Community conduct
Our community depends on trust. When taking part, you agree not to:
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other members.
- Post unlawful, hateful, or infringing content.
- Share other members' private information or material outside the community.
- Promote or sell your own products without our permission.
- Copy or redistribute member material beyond your own personal use.
We may remove content, pause access, or end a membership if these rules are broken.
9. Our content
The Site and everything we create for the community, including text, images, logos, and member materials, belongs to HoneyRoot Collective and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Your membership gives you personal access, not ownership. You may not copy, resell, or repost it as your own.
10. Your content
Anything you post to the community stays yours, but you give us and other members permission to view and use it within the community as part of how it runs. You confirm that what you post is yours to share and breaks no law or third-party right.
11. Links to other services
The Site links to services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information. Their terms and privacy policies are their own.
12. As-is and limitation of liability
The Site and the community are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, HoneyRoot Collective is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or membership. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the [three] months before the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to cover our reasonable losses if a claim arises from your misuse of the Site, your breach of these terms, or content you posted.
14. Ending membership
We may suspend or end your membership if you breach these terms. You can cancel at any time as described above.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top. Continuing as a member after a change means you accept the update.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [the Commonwealth of Massachusetts / the State of Oregon], and any dispute will be handled in the courts located in that state. Choose the state where HoneyRoot Collective is registered. This does not remove mandatory consumer protections that apply to members in other places.
